2 Prices reflect charges for the great majority of documents processed. However, we reserve the right to adjust prices based on individual document needs. The price for any given document will be furnished in your free, no-obligation quote.

3 Yen prices provided here are approximate, based on recent exchange rates. Actual yen prices are based on US dollar prices, with estimates based on the exchange rate on the day of your free, no-obligation quote.

4 We charge on either a per-page or per-hour basis. Per-page prices are based on 220 words per page (about average for double-spaced, 12 point font manuscript formats recommended by most professional organizations and style manuals). We offer hourly-basis editing for long documents (of 5000 words or longer) because we are generally able to work more quickly as we become more familiar with an author's style and argument; that is, the per-hour basis results in a lower charge than the per-page basis for longer texts. In contrast, the hourly basis results in a higher charge than the per-page basis for shorter texts; we need to use this basis in charging for service on short texts due to the extra time such texts require for us to become familiar with an author's style and argument.
